The work involved producing 146 lineal feet of new galvanized brake formed metal cornice. A full section of cornice was removed to develop drawings and proper measurements, including minor improvements over the original design. An eight-foot-long mock-up was fabricated and installed for approval before the cornice was constructed. The 48-inch-high cornice was constructed from five horizontal sections with different configurations and 80 panels with spinnings. Eighty-four brackets were fabricated and attached to a section of the upper cornice along with 350 dentils. Specific parts were soldered together to reduce field attachment.
