Michigan was contacted in November 2007 and asked to replicate five copper finials for a church. An original sample was sent to the shop. The die casting process allowed the shop’s staff to not only replicate, but to offer them in various heights. One finial was extended and made several inches taller. A patina coat was later applied to give the pieces an aged look.
